Hap-bead New Year!

The New Year is upon us once again… 2014… a time of endless possibilities. As is commonly the case, this is when many of us think about New Year resolutions, things we want to accomplish in the coming 12 months. We can apply this practice to beading as well.

As you look at the year ahead, consider:

  • What stitches do you want to learn?
  • What new projects do you want to take on?
  • What supplies would be perfect for the “look” you want?
  • What piece(s) of jewelry did you previously see that you’d like to create?

photo-40I, for one, love the Viking stitch… the perfectly layered wire weave that is as timeless as it is unique. Somehow I have never made the time to learn it. I’m determined to take a class this year! That’s one resolution for me in 2014. How about you?

All of us at The Bead Hive would like the opportunity to help you achieve your goals for this year. What can we do to translate your resolutions into realities? Our staff is ready and willing to assist you in any way we can. We will gladly bring in bead artists, new books, special beads, exciting classes – whatever it takes – to help you.

Please stop in, call, or send us an email or text, and we’ll be sure to respond to your ideas. We are anxious to hear from you…and help you be all that you can be in 2014!
